BFA from School of The Art Institute of Chicago
Certificate from Archeworks/Chicago
Suzanna received her degree at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she studied sculpture, textile design, painting, and printmaking, all of which heavily play into her design identity today. Prior to her current work, Suzanna founded a high-end organic children’s clothing company that sold in Europe, New York City, and Los Angeles. Both her formal education as a technical artist and her real-world experience with boutique textiles play into her multifaceted and layered design approach.
Suzanna’s strengths lie in spatial planning; specifically, architecturally reworking outdated spaces into something functional yet beautiful, luxurious yet livable. Suzanna’s designs are executed with utility in mind while simultaneously exuding elegance and serenity. Every detail is tailored to ensure her clients feel like their home is a place of refuge, meaning, and comfort.
Suzanna’s full-service design approach means she will be involved in each project from the initial meeting through design conception, material, and contractor selection — all the way to the installation and build-out.
At the core of Suzanna's work is the belief that every space can be transformed into a beautiful and comfortable place to come home to. When not designing interior spaces, Suzanna can be found throwing pottery, welding her own custom furniture, or stopping by to see old clients.
