This bathroom was a builder remodel full of problems - a shower that leaked into the walls, bad electrical, and bad design. We gave the bathroom a fresh, modern farmhouse look that the client craved and added more functionality to the space.
This older 1960’s home was in original condition which meant it lacked modern day functionality. We opened up the wall to the master bedroom to add a slightly larger footprint. We designed a custom walnut vanity that included a dressing table and wrapped the spa tub in walnut.
This bathroom felt small and dark, so we opened it up by taking out a wall that divided the bathtub from the vanity area. We also reoriented the vanity to a longer section of wall which helped create a clean cohesive look. We also designed a custom walnut vanity and medicine cabinet/shelf for extra storage.
When my clients moved in to their brand new condo they realized their “old” things didn’t work any more. So we shopped stores that they had gift cards remaining from their wedding, built in Ikea bookshelves to save on costs, and layered the room with vintage textiles.
We gave this bathroom a funky makeover for our young, hip clients. We designed a custom blackened steel vanity top and back-splash, added a vintage sink and accessories to make it super unique and colorful.
