Wheel Rim Bathrooms :: Before and After

I am so happy to show you the before and after pictures of this fun project. Our client needed all bathrooms in her home updated. On first meeting with this client I knew she was fun, colorful, and adventurous. We wanted to reflect that in the design. My clients father was a prolific painter so I knew right away we wanted to showcase his work in the powder room.

Guest Bath ::

This bathroom wasn’t very functional with a low vanity and linen closet that was too deep. It was also pretty dark. We wanted to lighten it up and make it a happy space, layered, and textured.

Powder Bath ::

I love powder rooms because they are so small you can have a lot of fun, but this one was having the wrong kind of fun. My goal was to brighten it up and showcase my clients artwork.

Master Bath ::

In the master bath my client wanted a space where she could relax, a space that felt calm and peaceful. The bathroom originally had an oversized tub and tiny shower. She never used the tub so we added a large walk-in shower in it’s place. Where the shower was we added more storage with a little linen nook.

Deepwoods Living Room, Entry, and Powder Bath :: Before and After Reveal

I am so excited to finally show you the before and after of our Deepwoods living room, entry, and powder bath (and a tiny sneak of the dining room)! If you remember the kitchen reveal the house was dark and dated. Our goal was to brighten up the space, make it livable and comfortable for a young family with two small kids. We added a lot of custom pieces to make the home more curated and special for the family. I hope you enjoy it!!

Hardy House Rental :: Before and After Reveal

Our clients contacted us to upgrade the bathrooms in their home which they were turning into a rental property. The master bedroom had just a 1/2 bath (toilet and sink) and they wanted to add a full shower. I love a good house puzzle! We took space from an outdoor storage area and turned it into the entry for the bedroom, which gave us just enough space for a full walk in shower. In the hall bathroom we added a pocket door and moved the entry over to give room for a larger vanity. There was an awkward drop down above the shower that housed A.C. ductwork that we were able to move to open up the space. Both bathrooms were taken down to the studs and built back up with new finishes throughout.

Hall Bath ::

We tried to stay true to the era of the house which was built in 1946. We used subway tile – floor to ceiling throughout and penny tile on the floor. A vintage credenza was used for the vanity and we found an old metal first aid kit to hang above the potty to house T.P. We welded a custom mirror/medicine cabinet for added storage. And to go along with the vintage, industrial vibe we used my favorite lights from Schoolhouse Electric with a pop of red and my all time favorite faucet similar to what you would find in a science lab.

I hope you enjoy the before and after!!

Master Bath ::

The master bath was a 1/2 bath – toilet and sink, we took space from an outdoor storage area and made it the entry to the bedroom which gave us just the right amount of space for a walk in shower. We kept the design simple, bright, and airy.
